Ecomuseu Campos de São José

The Ecomuseu dos Campos de São José is a community-impact cultural project created by the Centro de Estudos da Cultura Popular (CECP) in partnership with Petrobras through the Programa Petrobras Socioambiental in 2015. Based in São José dos Campos, SP, the project works directly across 28 neighbourhoods of the city's east and southeast, plus the city of Jambeiro, supporting community empowerment and the valorisation of local cultural and natural heritage. Activities include reforestation along the Callithrix aurita trail, conversation circles, community gardens and composting, fairs of knowledge and crafts, and musical gatherings.
