CEMEMOR, the Centro de Memória da Medicina at UFMG, was established in 1977 to preserve the rich history of the Faculty of Medicine, founded in 1911. The center houses an extensive collection of books, documents, artwork, and sculptures related to medical and health history, and is open to the public as part of the UFMG Museum Network.
