Memorial Funerário Mathias Haas

Museu Haas is Brazil's first museum dedicated to funeral art and cemetery heritage, bringing together over a century of history about funerary art and the rites of farewell. The museum houses approximately 13,000 cataloged items including tumular ornaments, tools, headstones, historical photographs, and records from the Haas family funeral business. Through its permanent and temporary exhibitions, the museum invites visitors to reflect on death, memory, and cultural identity in southern Brazil.
