Espaço Comum Luiz Estrela

Espaço Comum Luiz Estrela is a self-managed cultural centre in Belo Horizonte's Santa Efigênia neighbourhood, occupying a 1914 former military hospital that was occupied by artists in 2013. Today it hosts art, education and political projects organised around principles of the commons, with working groups in audiovisual, communication, permaculture, restoration and memory, and a community kitchen, courses and festivals.
