Biagoml Museum of People’s Glory

The Biagoml Museum of People's Glory was founded in 1968 and officially opened in May 1970 to mark the 25th anniversary of the victory in World War II. The museum's main exhibitions document the emergence of the partisan movement in the Begoml area, featuring documents, weapons, military equipment, and other artefacts that recount the formation and operations of the "Zheleznyak" partisan brigade and the Borisov-Begoml partisan zones, including life in the partisan camps, the underground hospital and the partisan airfield. The museum also runs educational programmes and lectures for students on regional history and World War II.
