Berestse Archaeological Museum
The Berestse (Berestye) Archaeological Museum is a branch of the Brest Regional Local Lore Museum, built over an excavated medieval craftsmen's quarter of the 13th-century Old Russian town of Berestye. Its centrepiece is a glass-roofed pavilion sheltering more than two dozen original log dwellings preserved in the alluvial soil, alongside artefacts of daily life from the wooden settlement.
