Dribin Historical and Ethnographic Museum

The Dribin District Historical and Ethnographic Museum, opened in 2004, studies and preserves the unique traditional craft of "shapovalstvo" (felt-making) of the Dribin region in Belarus. The craft was given the status of intangible historical and cultural heritage of Belarus in 2009. The museum hosts the folk amateur association "Shapoval" and the children's group "Katrushnik," passing the tradition to new generations through workshops and an exposition of tools, items and traditional valenki (felt boots).
