The history of exhibition activities of the Rechitsa Local History Museum began in 1990, when exhibitions of paintings, graphics and arts and crafts began to be regularly held in the city. In December 1998, the exhibition hall of the Rechitsa Local History Museum was opened at Sovetskaya Street 30 (now the Crafts Center). In September 2007 in the historical part of the city in the restored building — an architectural monument of the late XIX — early XX century, was opened an art gallery, which later — in 2015 was named after our famous fellow countryman Alexander Isachev.
