Memorial Museum-Estate of Tadeush Kostyushko
The Memorial Museum-Estate of Tadeush Kostyushko commemorates the renowned military leader Tadeush Kostyushko, born February 4, 1746, at the Merechevshchina farmstead. The estate was originally built in 1720, destroyed during WWII in 1944, and meticulously reconstructed in 2004 based on archaeological excavations. The museum features five memorial rooms — entry hall, kitchen, mother's room, father's study, and drawing room — plus a historical room with notable artifacts including a U.S. West Point cadet uniform, replicas of personal weapons, and 18th-century archaeological finds.
