Krupky District Historical and Regional Studies Museum

The Krupky District Historical and Regional Studies Museum, founded in 1995 with its current building opened in 2004, preserves and studies the history and national heritage of the Krupki area in Belarus. The museum's halls cover ecology, archaeology, military history, modern history and a temporary exhibition space, and the collection includes 34 holdings totalling over 8,400 items. Highlights include "The Bonistics" exposition, ancient icons, paintings by artists such as B. Arakcheyev and A. Ksendzov, and archaeology finds including a treasure of 5th-7th century bronze bracelets. The B. V. Araktcheyev Art Gallery on Zaytsev Street operates as a branch.
