The Ostrovets Historical and Ethnographic Museum was founded by the decision of the Ostrovets District Executive Committee No. 171 dated March 25, 2009. It showcases exhibits typical for the Belarusian village of the first half of the 20th century and has a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of the Ostrovets region.
