Memorial Museum of Horticulturist and Plant Breeder I. P. Sikora
The Memorial Museum of Horticulturist and Plant Breeder I.P. Sikora, established in 1988, honors the pioneering scientist who developed innovative fruit tree rejuvenation methods and created the cold-hardy apple variety "Sikora's Memory." The museum preserves materials documenting his life and scientific achievements and operates a 2.6-hectare garden-nursery featuring cedar, apple trees, gooseberries, hazelnuts, currants, and pears. The site hosts the annual "Apple Salvation" regional festival each August, which has run for over 20 years celebrating Sikora's legacy.
