Memorial Museum of Horticulturist and Plant Breeder I. P. Sikora

This is the only and unique cultural institution "Memorial Museum of Horticulturist and Plant Breeder I. P. Sikora", which is a structural unit of the department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs of Sharkovshchina Regional Executive Committee, was created in 1988. On this territory there is a garden of 2.6 hectares, where grow: cedar, apple trees, gooseberry, hazelnut, currant and pear trees. Creative and well-organized team of director, researcher, curator of funds and agronomist works here. I. P. Sikora one of the first in Europe has developed methods of treatment and rejuvenation of fruit trees. He bred the variety of apples with high winter hardiness, one of the best in taste among the Belarusian apple varieties "Memory of Sikora". The museum collects and preserves materials about the life and scientific activities of the horticultural breeder.
