Avonlea & District Museum
The Avonlea Heritage Museum in Avonlea, Saskatchewan, collects, interprets and displays the history of Avonlea and the surrounding area across more than 15,000 square feet of exhibit space. Housed in the original 1912 CN Train Station together with the St. David's Anglican Church, a Cook Sleeper and Supply Car, and pioneer and agricultural display buildings, it covers prehistory, Indigenous history, settlement and the 20th century. The Museum also operates guided tours of the Avonlea Badlands, where visitors can explore the region's geology, palaeontology, archaeology and wildlife.
