Banting House National Historic Site
Banting House National Historic Site in London, Ontario commemorates the life and career of Sir Frederick G. Banting, co-discoverer of insulin, and is often referred to as the birthplace of insulin, a designation dating from 1923. Permanent installations and online exhibitions explore Banting's life as scientist, artist and war hero, and the site offers school programs, tours, special events and a timeline of Banting's work. The house is operated by Diabetes Canada.
