City of Greater Sudbury Archives

The City of Greater Sudbury Archives serves the City of Greater Sudbury and its institutions by acquiring, preserving and providing access to records of enduring value, including municipal government records and private records that document Sudbury's history. Housed in the Thomas Edison building in Falconbridge — donated to the City in 2007 — the Archives officially opened to the public by appointment in May 2012. The reading room is available to researchers by appointment.
