City of Toronto Archives

The City of Toronto Archives houses historical records of the City of Toronto and the municipal governments that existed before the 1998 amalgamation, alongside personal papers from individuals, families, organizations and businesses. Holdings include photographs, maps, architectural drawings, plans and other archival material, supported by an online catalogue, exhibits and education programmes. The Research Hall is fully accessible and visitors are encouraged to make an appointment.
