The Clara Thomas Archives and Special Collections at York University Libraries holds the institutional records of York University along with private papers, rare books, maps and other primary source material acquired to support research and teaching. Its collections are particularly strong in Canadian history, the fine arts (design, photography, music, film and theatre), philosophy, environmental history and sexual diversity, and the reading room operates by appointment.
