Hearst Ecomuseum

The Écomusée de Hearst Ecomuseum is housed in one of the oldest homes in Hearst, Ontario, built in 1919 by contractor Adelard Blais. The museum showcases daily life in the Hearst region during the early development period (1922-1947), with exhibits focusing on religion, Francophone culture and the forestry industry that shaped this northern Ontario community. Visitors can also enjoy a typical 1920s experience with the museum's summer Teas programme.
