Fort York National Historic Site
Fort York National Historic Site is a 43-acre archeological park in Toronto where, during the War of 1812, British soldiers, First Nations warriors, and Upper Canadian militiamen stood together against the United States. The site preserves Canada's largest collection of original War of 1812-era buildings and tells the story of Toronto's founding as the town of York.
