Frontenac County Schools Museum
The Frontenac County Schools Museum in eastern Ontario tells the story of one-room schoolhouses across the region. Visitors can take guided or self-guided tours, dress up as 1900s schoolmarms or schoolmasters, explore an interactive map of 183 individual one-room schools, and view exhibits, artefacts and a virtual museum program designed for classrooms. Admission is by donation.
