Glengarry Pioneer Museum
The Glengarry Pioneer Museum (GPM) in Dunvegan, Ontario, opened in 1962 and consists of several 19th-century log heritage buildings and artifacts that explore Ontario's Celtic roots between Ottawa and Montreal. The museum's original structure began as MacIntosh's Store in the 1840s, became the Star Inn, a stagecoach stop, in the 1860s, and remains furnished to that period — including the original barroom, believed to be one of the oldest surviving in the region.
