Instituto Cultural Lula Cardoso Ayres

The Instituto Cultural Lula Cardoso Ayres (ICLC) is a private museum in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Pernambuco, dedicated to the work of northeastern Brazilian artist Lula Cardoso Ayres (1910–1987). The collection comprises over 300 works including paintings, drawings, photographs, illustrations, murals, and set designs. The institute also maintains a cinematheque with more than 3,000 titles, including silent films and early sound cinema, making it one of the most significant private cultural institutions in northeastern Brazil.
