Ireland House Museum

Ireland House Museum is a historic homestead museum located on Oakridge Farm in Burlington, Ontario. Built between 1835 and 1837, it was the home of Joseph Ireland, one of Burlington's earliest settlers who emigrated from Yorkshire, England in 1819. The museum is restored to illustrate three distinct time periods representing generations of the Ireland family: the 1850s, 1890s, and 1920s, with 90% of furnishings original to the family. Guided tours, heritage demonstrations, and interactive programming bring Burlington's agricultural and domestic history to life.
