Kawartha Settlers' Village
Kawartha Settlers' Village is an outdoor living history museum in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, showcasing pioneer life in the Kawartha Lakes region from 1830 to 1935. Once a family farm, the site has grown into a heritage village featuring over 20 historic homes and buildings relocated from across the region, including a general store, blacksmith shop, schoolhouse, and farmstead. Visitors can explore the authentic structures, meet costumed interpreters, and experience what daily life was like for the settlers of the Kawarthas. The village sits on Michi Saagiig (Mississauga First Nations) Treaty 20 territory.
