Keith Boyd Museum | Russell Historical Society
The Keith M. Boyd Museum, operated by the Russell Village and District Historical Society, tells the story of the village of Russell, Ontario and the surrounding area from the early 1800s through local artefacts, photographs, and genealogical records. Exhibits recreate early village life, including the first dentist's office, doctors' consulting rooms, barber shop, general store, and train station. The museum occupies two heritage buildings: a former church built in 1856 (the oldest public building in Russell Township) and a former fire hall.
