Ashcroft Museum

Originally established in 1936, the Ashcroft Museum is housed in the brick "Dominion" building (built 1916) at the corner of Brink and 4th Street in Ashcroft, British Columbia. Operated by the Village of Ashcroft, the museum's collection dates back to the early 1900s and honours the local Indigenous people, the Chinese community and pioneer settlers of the South Cariboo, with displays on ranching, sports, fossils and a popular coal-mine exhibit. The museum also maintains extensive archives relating to local families and the region from Spences Bridge to Clinton.
