Bamberton Historical Society
The Bamberton Historical Society is a registered not-for-profit organisation on Vancouver Island that preserves the history of the Bamberton Cement Plant and village, considered by the British Columbia Archives to be one of the most important industrial sites in BC's history. Since its formation in 2005 the society has collected hundreds of photos, maps, charts, company records, film footage and audio interviews dating from 1911. Displays, including a model of the Bamberton cement plant and school, can be viewed at the Heritage Museum in Mill Bay on Sundays, 11am-3pm.
