The Bill Reid Centre for Northwest Coast Studies at Simon Fraser University was founded in 2005 by Dr. George MacDonald to foster Indigenous scholarship and cultural practice. The Centre serves as a collaborative space dedicated to the visual and material heritage of Coastal First Peoples, supporting research and programming around Northwest Coast Indigenous art and culture.
