Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre
The Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre celebrates the maritime heritage of the Cowichan Bay area on Vancouver Island. Operated by the Cowichan Wooden Boat Society, the centre features exhibits on local boatbuilding, a working workshop, a wooden dinghy fleet, marine ways, and a vintage outboard motor repair facility. Public programs include children's activities, woodworking workshops, and the annual Wooden Boat Festival, all on the unceded traditional lands of the Quw'utsun peoples.
