First Metropolitan United Church and Archives
First Metropolitan United Church and Archives in downtown Victoria, BC, traces its lineage back to three founding congregations — First Presbyterian (1863), Pandora Avenue Methodist (1859) and First Congregational (1859) — that united over 135 years of regional history. The current 1913 building, with archives covering Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregationalist roots, became home to the amalgamated First Metropolitan United Church in 1997. Since 1 January 2024 the congregation is known as Broad View United and operates from a new facility on St. Aidan's Street.
