Kerry Wood Nature Centre
The Kerry Wood Nature Centre is an environmental education and interpretive centre in Red Deer, Alberta, operated by the Waskasoo Environmental Education Society. Set within Waskasoo Park alongside the Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary — one of the largest urban wildlife sanctuaries in Canada — the centre offers exhibits and programmes on the natural history of the Red Deer River valley ecosystem. It is named after Kerry Wood, a celebrated Red Deer author and naturalist. Facilities include a wildlife interpretive area, nature store, Marjorie Wood Gallery, and Imagination Grove.
