Lieu historique national de Coteau-du-Lac

The Coteau-du-Lac National Historic Site in Quebec preserves Canada's first lock canal and the remains of a fort along the St. Lawrence River. The site represents a 7,000-year-old passageway approximately 50 km southwest of Montreal, celebrating its centennial historic designation in 2023. Outdoor areas are freely accessible year-round.
