Association québécoise pour le patrimoine industriel

Founded in 1988, the Association québécoise pour le patrimoine industriel (AQPI) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the study, understanding, conservation and enhancement of Quebec's industrial heritage. Its members include historians, consultants, government cultural officials and museum professionals, and the association organises conferences, field visits, Montréal industrial-heritage tours and the "Découvrir MTL Industriel" programme. AQPI also publishes a bulletin, maintains industrial-heritage inventories, and advocates for the protection of sites, buildings, machines and archives connected to Quebec's industrial past.
