Centre d'exposition de Rouyn-Noranda

The Musée d'art de Rouyn-Noranda (MA) is the first and only art museum in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, formed in 2017 through the merger of the Centre d'exposition de Rouyn-Noranda (originally the Exhibition Committee, founded 1978) with its Foundation. Installed since 2012 in downtown Rouyn-Noranda, the MA fully participates in the advancement of visual arts in northwestern Quebec across six vectors: collection, conservation, exhibition, research, education and social transformation. The young but growing collection contains over 1,000 works by artists from Quebec, Canada and the Americas.
