Centre d'interprétation de la foresterie in La Sarre, Quebec was erected following the city's designation as Forestry Capital of Canada in 1989, the first Quebec city to receive this honour. The current log building, constructed in 2012, features a permanent free exhibition exploring regional history through forestry, geography, and archaeology, including period forestry tools, Indigenous artifacts, and historical dioramas with audio guides via QR codes.
