Centre d'interprétation du phoque

The Centre d'interprétation du phoque in Grande-Entrée, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, is an ecomuseum dedicated to seals and the cultural and environmental connection between these animals and the Madelinots. Through interactive activities, videos and quizzes, visitors discover four seal species found in the Gulf and estuary of the St. Lawrence: harp, hooded, grey and harbour seals. The centre also highlights the maritime way of life through exhibits on fishing and seafood processing.
