Centre d'interprétation du site archéologique Droulers - Tsiionhiakwahta

The Droulers-Tsiionhiakwatha archaeological site in Saint-Anicet, Quebec, is the largest paleohistorical village discovered in the province and one of the best preserved St. Lawrence Iroquoian villages, home around the mid-15th century to roughly 600 Iroquoian farmers. The interpretation centre features a reconstruction of part of the Iroquoian village, including four longhouses surrounded by a high palisade, built according to ancient methods. Excavations have uncovered over 150,000 fragments including clay vessels, pipe bowls, stone and bone tools, food remains, and charred cultivated plant seeds.
