Centre Mnémo

Centre Mnémo is a documentation and dissemination centre dedicated to Quebec's traditional dance and music heritage, including Francophone, Anglophone and Indigenous traditions. The centre's mission focuses on conservation, dissemination and promotion of traditional dance and music. A national identification campaign launched by Mnémo gathered approximately 5,000 unique and endangered documents on traditional song, dance, music and storytelling, and the centre runs conferences on Quebec's living heritage and education programs in partner institutions including Cégep de Joliette.
