Cité de l'Or, La

La Cité de l'Or is the only historic site in Canada that immerses visitors in the heart of a gold mining operation. Located in Val-d'Or, Quebec, the site features an underground descent to 300 feet in mine galleries, four historic mine buildings, a permanent exhibition, and a historic mining village circuit from the Northwest Quebec gold rush era of the 1920s.
