Commission des champs de bataille nationaux
The National Battlefields Commission is a Canadian federal agency established in 1908 under the Minister of Canadian Heritage. Its mandate is to acquire, conserve, and develop the historic battlefields of Quebec City as a national park, preserving this important heritage for future generations. The Commission manages the Plains of Abraham, site of the decisive 1759 battle that shaped Canadian history, as well as the surrounding Battlefields Park.
