Maison et atelier Rodolphe-Duguay

Maison et atelier Rodolphe-Duguay in Nicolet, Québec, preserves the home and studio of Rodolphe Duguay (1891–1973), one of Québec's foremost painter-engravers, and his wife, the writer and poet Jeanne L'Archevêque. The historic property includes the family house and the Atelier Ermitage, a unique artist's studio set amid a lush garden landscape. A recently renovated permanent exhibition tells the story of Duguay's artistic development, including his training in Europe, while rotating temporary exhibitions showcase professional artists from the region. The museum also offers guided visits, school programmes, artistic workshops, and venue rental.
