Marguerite Bourgeoys Museum
The Marguerite Bourgeoys Museum in Montreal is dedicated to the life and legacy of Marguerite Bourgeoys, a pioneering French woman who arrived in New France in 1659 and founded a community of non-cloistered women to carry on her educational mission. The museum is housed alongside the historic Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours and includes a permanent exhibition, archaeological site, and a belvedere overlooking the Old Port.
