Arctic Institute of North America

The Arctic Institute of North America (AINA) is a multidisciplinary research institute at the University of Calgary dedicated to advancing knowledge of the Arctic's physical, social and biological environment. It operates the Kluane Lake Research Station in the Yukon, publishes the peer-reviewed Arctic journal and maintains collections, data and education programmes. AINA partners with scientists, Indigenous communities and institutions to support science, policy and stewardship across the circumpolar north.
