Ballenberg is Switzerland's premier open-air museum, featuring over 100 historic rural buildings relocated from across the country to a vast park near Brienz. The museum preserves living Swiss traditions through farmhouses, barns, traditional crafts, farm animals, and cultural landscapes, offering visitors an immersive experience of rural Swiss heritage across the centuries. The museum is open seasonally from spring through autumn.
