Ballenberg is the only open-air museum of Switzerland, located in Hofstetten bei Brienz, showcasing the country's cultural heritage. Visitors can explore over 100 historical buildings relocated from across Switzerland, featuring traditional farmhouses, stables, barns, crafts demonstrations, and farm animals. The museum offers special exhibitions, horse-drawn carriage rides, the new Ballenberg-Bahn accessible railway, and over 100 annual courses and workshops on traditional handicrafts.
