Basler Papiermühle

The Basler Papiermühle (Swiss Museum for Paper, Writing and Printing) is housed in a late-medieval mill in Basel and brings the history of paper-making, writing and printing to life as a working manufactory. Visitors meet specialists demonstrating papermaking, printing and bookbinding on historic machines and can try the hands-on stations themselves. The museum welcomes families, groups and schools, and is largely accessible by lift.
