Historisches Museum Basel – Barfüsserkirche

The Barfüsserkirche, part of the Basel Historical Museum (HMB), has housed an exhibition on the history of Basel from prehistoric times to the present since 1894. The museum is located in a 14th-century Gothic Franciscan church and is particularly noted for its works of pre-Reformation sacred art, the Basel Dance of Death, the Basel Cathedral Treasury, and its rich archaeological collections. One admission ticket gives access to all three HMB sites for seven days.
