Castello di Montebello / Museo archeologico

Castello di Montebello is one of the three medieval castles of the Fortezza di Bellinzona UNESCO World Heritage Site (since 2000), which represents the only visible example of medieval military architecture in the entire Alpine arc. It houses the Civic Museum of Bellinzona with archaeological and historical collections. The complex also includes Castel Grande and Sasso Corbaro.
