Antikensammlung

The Antikensammlung at the University of Bern comprises approximately 200 plaster casts of famous Greek and Roman sculptures, including representations of Aphrodite, Laocoon, Cleopatra, and Augustus, alongside a fine selection of original ancient small art objects. Founded in 1806 for drawing instruction, the collection serves as a teaching resource for Mediterranean archaeology students and hosts drawing courses and rotating exhibitions.
