Heimatmuseum Bucheggberg
Founded in 1938, the Stiftung Schloss Buchegg owns the 'Buechischlössli' — a tower built in 1546 on the site of a medieval castle and used for some 250 years as a prison. Alongside its core task of maintaining the tower and castle grounds, the foundation promotes culture and the arts, operates the Bucheggberg district archive, awards a cultural prize, and maintains the Bucheggberg circular hiking trail.
