Domschatzmuseum Chur
The Domschatzmuseum Chur, of national significance, is housed in the Bishop's Castle in Chur, one of the most important secular buildings in the canton of Graubünden. The museum presents two distinct holdings: the actual Cathedral Treasury from Chur Cathedral with its reliquaries and liturgical objects, and the unique 1543 cycle of the "Todesbilder" (Pictures of Death) — a Swiss-wide rarity. The institution was a nominee for the European Museum of the Year Award in 2022.
